Greetings in the name of the Lord!

Riding for the Son

In the Bible, in John 14, verses 5 and 6, Thomas questioned Jesus by asking,

“Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?” Jesus answered,

“I am the Way and the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

1 John 1:9 tells us that,

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”

Have you confessed your sins and accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour?

According to Revelation, we are living in the last days. No one knows when Christ will return. Matthew 14:36 says,

“No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.”

Matthew continues on,

“As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.” (Matthew 14:37-41)

Will you be the one who is taken, or the one who is left behind?

“…Keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.” (Matthew 34:42)

Ephesians 1:16-19a sums it up for us by saying,

“I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know Him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and His incomparably great power for us who believe.”

If you have not given your life to Jesus, please do it now while there is still time!

‘But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare.’ ~ 2 Peter 3:8-10 NIV

Praise God and give him all the glory and may He richly bless you!
